The ring was made from yellow gold and a special palladium and white gold alloy, which, at 14 karat fineness is ideal in terms of colour and resistance to chemical corrosion or tarnish compared to 18k white gold. This alloy is known for its hypo-allergenic quality, clear non-yellow colour and that it allows for a very secure setting for the stones.
The ring was designed with a split shank at the bottom to ensure balance and comfort.
