This ring was made from a special palladium and white gold alloy, which, at 14 karat fineness is ideal in terms of colour and resistance to chemical corrosion or tarnish compared to 18 karat white gold. This alloy is known for its hypo-allergenic quality, clear non-yellow colour and that it allows for a very secure setting for the stones.
The ring features a blue opal doublet exhibiting the play of a thousand colours. The world's first opal mine was opened within the former borders of Hungary.
